Touqian River Right Bank Cycling Path Introduction
Building on the成果 of the coastal bicycle path project, the trail begins at the Fengshan Stream Water Moon Imagery Bridge in the west and extends eastward along the right bank of the Touqian Stream to the Baoshi Police Station in Xinpu Township. This initiative not only provides access from the high floodplain on the right bank of the Touqian Stream to the slow-pitch baseball field but also demonstrates a commitment to promoting carbon reduction and green transportation, enhancing the waterfront tourism benefits within the county. The extended bicycle path along the right bank of the Touqian Stream connects to the coastal bicycle path project, starting from the Zhubei Water Moon Imagery Bridge over the Fengshan Stream, passing through the Douzipu Stream, and using the right bank of the Touqian Stream as the main route, reaching the Baoshi Police Station in Xinpu Township. Approximately 24 kilometers of bicycle network has been constructed, facilitating east-west bicycle routes connecting Zhubei City, Qionglin Township, and Xinpu Township, which is significant for cross-town tourism. This offers a new option for the east-west bicycle network in the county and encourages everyone to come and cycle in Hsinchu County, where you can also explore the hidden trails of the Silver River Tunnel and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tofu Rock, taking in the charm of the Touqian Stream waterfront. Note: The reconstruction project is expected to be completed after the Lunar New Year. Currently, an alternative route is provided, and an announcement will be made upon completion.
