Jianying Ceramic Shapes Introduction
This is a space for pottery and tea appreciation, with four walls representing the four families that the elder worked hard to raise. By employing spatial borrowing, the interior creates a scene that resembles the exterior. The studio space has taken shape through the imagined four buildings, returning the land to nature, making the floor appear to float on grass, welcoming everyone’s arrival. "Jianying Taoxing" has chosen the community of Shuilin Tsao Song to return to its roots for development, aiming to utilize the past to research and develop local clay mixtures, creating pottery with distinctive local cultural features, enhancing the reputation of Tsao Song. "Jianying Taoxing" is derived from the term "Lianying Taoxing," which conveys a sense of seclusion. It is a play on the name of the worker and the characteristics of the studio, describing how the studio is nestled in this beautiful, simple Tsao Song community, welcoming travelers and visitors to come and explore.
