Yuan Guang Temple Introduction

Located in Qixing Village, Liuliao, also known as Lion Rock Cave, it is situated at the peak of the mountain and is the earliest Buddhist temple built within the Shitou Mountain temple complex. It was established in the 21st year of the Guangxu era (1895) by Master Pujie, who is the founder of the Buddhist realm of Shitou Mountain. Later, a local resident named Chen Xiuchun donated the land for the construction of a hall in front of the cave to worship Guanyin and Shakyamuni Buddha.
