Yuan Guang Temple Introduction

Located in Liuliao, Qixing Village, also known as Lion Rock Cave, it is situated at the peak of the mountain and is the earliest built Buddhist temple among the Lion Head Mountain temple complex. Established in the 21st year of the Guangxu era (1895) by Master Pujie, he is regarded as the pioneer of the Buddhist realm of Lion Head Mountain. Later, Xu Chuanzheng of Fuxing Village donated the land to build a hall in front of the cave to worship Guanyin and Shakyamuni.
