Yuan Guang Temple Introduction

Located in Qixing Village Liuliao, also known as Lion Rock Cave, it sits at the peak of the mountain and is the earliest temple constructed within the Lion Head Mountain temple complex. It was established in the 21st year of the Guangxu era of the Qing Dynasty (1895 AD) by Master Pujie, who is the founder of the Buddhist realm of Lion Head Mountain. Later, Xu Chunchun from Fuxing Village donated the land to build a hall in front of the cave to worship Guanyin Bodhisattva and Shakyamuni Buddha.
