Yuan Guang Temple Introduction

Located in Liuliao, Qixing Village, also known as Lion Rock Cave, it sits on the summit and is the earliest Buddhist temple built within the Shitoushan temple complex. Established in the 21st year of the Guangxu era of the Qing Dynasty (1895 AD) by Master Pujie, he is regarded as the founder of the Shitoushan Buddhist realm. Subsequently, Xu Chuchun of Fuxing Village donated the foundation, and a hall was built in front of the cave to worship Guanyin and Shakyamuni.
