Wu-Cuo Chao-Hsing Temple Introduction
Wu Cuo Ma is a historical site rich in local development. Although it is named Wu Cuo, the predominant surname in the settlement is Liao. The faith center, Chao Xing Temple, is dedicated to Matsu, commonly referred to as Wu Cuo Ma. This temple is said to have been established during the Qianlong period and is the second temple among the seven Kuan of Xiluo. In recent years, there has been an active revival of the "Seven Kuan Welcoming Matsu" event, which involves a pilgrimage through 25 villages in the Seven Kuan area.
