Yunlin High-Speed Rail Station Introduction
Yunlin High-Speed Rail Station is located in Huwei Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan, and serves as a station for Taiwan High-Speed Rail. It began operations on December 1, 2015. In Taiwan, all stations with the same name as their county or city are managed by the Taiwan Railway Administration as the main station for that county or city, with this station being one of the three exceptions along with Banqiao Station in New Taipei City and Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung City. Nearby recreational attractions include the town of Huwei to the south, where visitors can explore towel factories and puppet theaters, and the Huwei Sugar Factory. To the north, traveling along County Road 145 leads to Xiluo Township, where attractions such as Yanping Old Street, Xiluo Guangfu Temple (Xiluo Mazu Temple), Xiluo Fuxing Temple, and the Xiluo Bridge can be found. To the west is Tukucheng, while heading east via County Road 145 Section B through the Huwei Interchange ultimately leads to Douliu City by turning right into Chetong Township. Visitors can transfer to Taiwan Railways in Douliu City or enjoy baseball games at Douliu Baseball Stadium.
