Xiluo Xincuo Gongxiao Temple Fumodadi Introduction
The Xiluo Gongxiao Palace, dedicated to Lord Zhong Kui, has a legendary origin. Over a hundred years ago, the houses in Xinzuo Village frequently caught fire for no apparent reason. The villagers invited a priestess from the Xiluo Guangfu Temple to seek advice. The priestess indicated that this village was a "Hōnglú Qí Xuè" (a magical fire pit) and that they needed to worship the Emperor of Exorcism to ward off disasters and relieve their troubles.
