Douliu Houzhuangpi Waterfront Park (Sky Island Light Environment) Introduction
Douliu Houzhuangpi Aquatic Park integrates flood retention and a recreational water environment for families. Supported by the Water Resources Agency and the Fifth River Basin Directorate, the Yunlin County Government's Water Resources Department has collaborated with various departments and the Douliu City Office to develop the park, which will be inaugurated in 2024. The Sky Island of Douliu Houzhuangpi Aquatic Park features "clouds" as the main theme of the park's installation art, with cloud-shaped lamp stands symbolizing the ethos of Yunlin, complemented by the lush greenery of the "forest" that beautifies the park's environment, integrating river and pond landscapes while preserving many native plants. Once the lights are turned on at night, the park becomes even more stunning, offering a contrasting landscape compared to the daytime, making Houzhuangpi Park a dreamy island floating in the sky and a fantastic recreational attraction.
