Taitung Indigenous Plant Applied Garden Introduction
The Taitung Indigenous Plant Application Park focuses on the development of medicinal plant breeding techniques through biotechnology, integrating leisure and dining to create a herbal plant industry, while combining the pure and natural landscapes of Taitung. The aim is to provide visiting tourists with a sense of physical, mental, and spiritual fulfillment. The park features hundreds of valuable indigenous medicinal plant species from Taitung, and is divided into six main areas based on plant habits and practicality: Aquatic Plant Area, Aromatic Plant Area, Herbal Tea Plant Area, Health Care Plant Area, Medicinal Cuisine Plant Area, and Ground Cover Medicinal Plant Area. The greenhouse and nursery areas of the botanical garden use organic cultivation methods, supplying plants needed for the park's dining and health products.
