Taitung Station Introduction
Taitung Railway Station is the main transportation hub for the Taitung area, where all levels of trains on the Eastern Line and Southern Link Line stop. The station has a visitor service center that provides comprehensive travel information for travelers. Outside the station, there are buses, highway coaches, the "Taiwan Hop On, Hop Off" sightseeing shuttle service, and YouBike rental stations. Surrounding the station are hotels, guesthouses, and various motorcycle and car rental services to meet travelers' diverse needs. The station is approximately a 10-minute drive from Taitung City center, and it takes about 20 minutes by bus to reach Taitung Airport or Fugang Fishing Port. The interior and exterior of Taitung Railway Station are filled with Indigenous culture, featuring many Indigenous wood carvings, and announcements in Indigenous languages, providing travelers with a unique experience upon arrival. To offer better services, the station has also added retail space selling various local products and souvenirs for travelers to purchase easily.
