Taitung Station Introduction
At the station, announcements are made in indigenous languages, and the interior is adorned with indigenous wooden sculptures, giving Taitung Station a unique style compared to other stations. From the moment visitors arriving from all over the world step off the train, they begin to soak in the relaxed and carefree indigenous culture of East Taiwan. Located on Yanwan Road, the train station officially renamed "Taitung Station" in 2001 serves as a major starting and ending point for the Taiwan Railway Administration, linking the Taitung Line, the Eastern Line, and the South Link Line. It boasts a larger area to accommodate the gradually increasing transportation volume. The station also features a tourist service center, where visitors can immediately obtain the most complete and accurate travel information upon arrival. Outside the station, there are "Taiwan All Pass" travel shuttles that lead tourists to various famous attractions, allowing them to fully enjoy the beautiful mountains, waters, and rich culture of Taitung's paradise.
