Bunun Tribe Leisure Farm Introduction
The Bunun Tribe Leisure Farm combines traditional Bunun arts and culture, with a vast area planned for performance zones, experiential learning spaces, and craft workshops. Visitors can engage in activities such as archery, DIY leather carving, fish feeding, or listening to the Bunun's unique eight-part harmonies. They can also savor seasonal local delicacies, admire weaving skills at the weaving workshop, and stay overnight at tribal homestays, allowing them to deeply experience the culture and lifestyle of the Bunun people. When visiting the Bunun Village, one should not miss the performances at the tribal theater within the park, scheduled for 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM daily. The stage, which is modestly decorated, allows visitors to sit on chairs carved from logs and enjoy the powerful eight-part harmonies of the Bunun, traditional rituals, or songs created by indigenous people, all of which are truly remarkable. Located at the back of the tribal theater, the specialty center offers locally produced products such as cypress essential oil, bamboo charcoal, handmade soap, and millet wine, along with artistic crafts filled with indigenous style that captivate the eyes. Throughout the park, rough wooden sculptures are displayed, and whether in the coffee shop or restaurant, the atmosphere is rich with indigenous charm. Visitors can sip a cup of coffee, order a meal, and enjoy a leisurely and relaxed vacation.
