Chikou Snorkeling Area Introduction
The name "Chai Kou" originates from early Han people who came to Lanyu for farming and had conflicts with the indigenous people on the island. The two sides confronted each other by building walls with wood in this area, which was then called "Zha Kou." Over time, with changes in the era and local development, it was renamed "Chai Kou," and it is currently planned as a snorkeling area.
