Guanyindong Cave Introduction
The Guanyin Cave in Green Island is located on the海階 platform in Gongguan Village, also known as Caoshang by the locals. It is a natural cavern with stalactites; in front of the cave is a couplet that reads, "Lush waters and green mountains, a sacred place of Guanyin; the island's scenery is a divine cave." Inside the cave stands a stalagmite resembling Guanyin Bodhisattva, attracting an increasing number of devotees and flourishing incense offerings.
