Jinlun St. Joseph's Catholic Church Introduction
In Taitung's Taimali, there stands a unique church – St. Joseph Catholic Church. The exterior of the church is inspired by the traditional pottery of the Puyuma people, constructed with black slate, which is strikingly different from the typical white church style. This rare black church, rich in indigenous cultural elements, is one of the few of its kind in the world.
