Kavalan An-nan Island Cultural Exchange Park Introduction
The Kavalan Ancestral Culture Exchange Park, located in the Lijiao Village of Jin Feng Township, Taitung County, is an important site that integrates the traditional spirit of the Paiwan people with the context of Austronesian culture. The park will officially open in 2025 and is created in collaboration with local communities and the Taitung County Government, featuring three traditional buildings: a male priest's house, a female shaman's house, and a granary for seed preservation, showcasing the life wisdom of the Paiwan people in harmony with nature. This place serves not only as a cultural display space but also as a bridge for dialogue between Taiwan and the Austronesian peoples of the Pacific.
