Jialan Sky Walk Introduction
The Sky Walk is located in Jia Lan Village, Jin Feng Township, at the southeast side of the cliff on the southern slopes of the Lawan Mountain Range beside the Taimali Creek. It stretches across the Jinwan section of Lawan area at the coordinates 70 and 164, facing and overlooking the Lawan Bridge and Jia Lan Village. Positioned in the mid-lower reaches of Taimali Creek, the water flow varies from magnificent to gentle throughout the four seasons, with rich scenic variations surroundings. The walkway is approximately 20 meters above the river surface, about 200 meters long and 2.8 meters wide. On the walkway, there is a transparent, non-slip enhanced glass pane approximately every 2 meters, allowing views of the landscape below. The pathway winds along the creek, showcasing abundant ecological flora and fauna, with distant views of Jia Lan Village and Lawan Bridge against the mountains. The picturesque scenery has made it one of the most famous attractions in this township. After its completion, the walkway connects Jia Lan Village's Lawan Bridge with the Laling Bridge, creating a circular bike path that is approximately 6.7 kilometers long. Along the way, visitors can appreciate indigenous crops and flowers. The route also leads to Jia Lan Hot Spring Park for foot baths or Jin Feng Hot Spring for soaking, allowing enjoyment of Taitung's leisurely atmosphere.
