Jialan Sky Walk Introduction
The Sky Walk is located in Jia Lan Village, Jin Feng Township, on the right side of the Taimalin River, on the cliffs of the Lawan Mountain Range. It stretches across the land parcels numbered 70 and 164 in the Jin Wan section of the Lawan area and overlooks the Lawan Bridge and Jia Lan Village. Situated in the middle section of the Taimalin River, the water flow changes dramatically with the seasons, sometimes roaring and sometimes trickling. The scenery surrounding the area is ever-changing, with an elevation of about 20 meters above the river surface. The walkway is approximately 200 meters long and 2.8 meters wide, featuring a section of transparent, anti-slip reinforced glass every 2 meters, allowing visitors to see the landscape below. The path meanders along the river, rich in diverse flora and fauna. Across the river are Jia Lan Village and the Lawan Bridge in the backdrop, creating a picturesque scene that has become the most famous attraction in the area. Once completed, the walkway connects Jia Lan Village with the Lawan Bridge and the Laren Bridge, forming a circular bike path of about 6.7 kilometers. Along the way, visitors can enjoy indigenous crops and flowers. You can also stop by Jia Lan Hot Spring Park for a foot soak or visit Jin Feng Hot Spring for a bath, experiencing the laid-back atmosphere of Taitung.
