Jialan Sky Walk Introduction
The Skywalk is located in the lower right corner of Jialan Village, Jinfon Township, on the cliff of the Lawan Mountain Range beside the right side of the Taimali River. It spans across the Jinwan section of the Lawan area, with land numbers 70 and 164, facing and overlooking the Lawan Bridge and Jialan Village. Positioned in the middle reaches of the Taimali River, the water flow changes with the seasons, sometimes roaring and at other times trickling, with a constantly changing surrounding landscape. The walkway is approximately 20 meters above the river surface, and its length is about 200 meters with a width of 2.8 meters. Every 2 meters, there is a piece of transparent anti-slip reinforced glass that allows a view of the scenery below. The path winds along the river, rich in ecological plants and animals, with Jialan Village and the Lawan Bridge standing in the backdrop, creating a beautiful scenery that has become the most famous attraction in the area. After its completion, the walkway connects Jialan Village with the Lawan Bridge and the Lalang Bridge, forming a bike path with a length of about 6.7 kilometers around the village, where visitors can observe indigenous crops and flowers. On the way, one can also visit the Jialan Hot Spring Park for foot baths or the Jinfon Hot Spring for a soak, experiencing the leisure of Taitung.
