Jian Hakka Cultural Park Introduction

Since the Japanese colonial period, many Hakka people from the Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli areas have moved here to grow tobacco. To this day, Ji'an has become the township with the largest population of Hakka people in Hualien. In this area, a cultural park has been established that integrates the imagery of Hakka tung flowers. Besides two exhibition halls that introduce the history of Yoshino Village and Hakka culture, the park also features a century-old camphor tree, the Yoshino Shrine monument, and the Yoshino Land Development Memorial, which witness the passage of time.
