The iconic white statue of the Great Buddha Guanyin at the highest point overlooks the entire Keelung city area. The park offers various facilities for public activities, making it a great destination for outings and sightseeing! - Attraction Features - Zhongzheng Park is divided into three levels based on the terrain: The first level features the entrance from the Xinyi Road archway along the pilgrimage path, where you can see the Martyrs' Shrine (Keelung Shrine), Hill of Hope, and a roller rink, which are perfect for weekend outings; The second level is home to the main altar, which hosts the annual Ghost Festival during the seventh lunar month, making it a great time to witness folk rituals; The third level is where the white Guanyin statue and the Great Buddha Zen Temple are located. The Guanyin statue has five levels inside, flanked by two golden lions, surrounded by 18 statues of arhats with various expressions and poses, as well as a wishing pond and Millennium Bell.
