Haishan Fishing Port Introduction
During summer vacation, Hsinchu has two fishing ports related to the sea: Haishan Fishing Port and Hsinchu Fishing Port. However, Haishan Fishing Port is affected by tides, which limits its fishing development. Nonetheless, the spacious viewing platform allows for a genuine look at the horizon where the sea meets the sky. The viewing platform at Haishan Fishing Port is about one story high, offering views of the wetland oyster farming and coastal scenery, as well as a panoramic view of the Xiangshan Wetland. Unlike the bustling Hsinchu Fishing Port, Haishan Fishing Port exudes a tranquil charm, making it a perfect place to leisurely spend time without stress; after all, a little tanning is what summer vacation is all about! Haishan Fishing Port is located in an important area of the Xiangshan Wetland in Hsinchu, also known as the Haishan Exploration Zone. This is a large area of reclaimed land and is the largest wetland in northern Taiwan. The viewing platform here is about one story high, offering views of the wetland oyster farming and coastal scenery, as well as a panoramic view of the Xiangshan Wetland.
