In 2007, to promote environmental efficiency, SEG abandoned the non-renewable energy gas and heavy oil dragon kiln and switched to an electrically controlled 'electrode kiln.' The melting temperature reaches 1500 degrees, which not only provides better environmental benefits but also results in glass that is more transparent and durable. In an era where the glass industry is gradually losing its original foundation due to relocation, Spring Pool upholds the spirit of inheriting glass craftsmanship and takes on the mission of preserving kiln thermal molding, ensuring that eco-friendly glass with green energy values continues to shine in Taiwan. This also enables the Hsinchu glass craftsmanship to be passed down. The handmade glass artworks incorporate recycled glass materials, achieving a win-win balance between inheriting glass craftsmanship and environmental protection.
