Xiangshan Wetlands Crab Watching Trail Introduction
During the summer vacation, come to Hsinchu and enjoy the seaside with Sanhai Feng! Continuing the coastal charm, there is a crab-watching trail near the Xiangshan Wetland, which is rich in biodiversity generated by the intertidal zone. It is the most accessible natural ecological area along the coast of Hsinchu City and also the largest ecological resource in the area. The crab-watching trail is 250 meters long, and along the path, you can see over a dozen species of crabs, including the white shrimp crab, the giant eye crab, and the monk crab. The spectacular scene of "thousands of crabs rushing" during low tide is a highlight! It is very suitable for family outings, providing an outdoor journey of ecological conservation knowledge. The Xiangshan Wetland in Hsinchu City is a nationally significant wetland. Due to its abundant fish and crab resources, migratory birds returning from the south and north choose the Xiangshan Wetland as a resting stop. If the timing is right, you can witness the migration and breeding of migratory birds at the Xiangshan Wetland.
