Haitian Yixian Ocean View Area Introduction
The coastline of Hsinchu City is beautifully scenic, and after the completion of the landfill restoration work, it will become a new landscape area. This area features a fly ash mound created from the ash produced by the incinerator, located on one side of the Environmental Science and Technology Building, rising about 20 meters above sea level. It is a great viewpoint where one can admire the office building of the Environmental Protection Agency designed by architect Ieoh Ming Pei on one side, and on the other side, enjoy the breathtaking horizon where the sea meets the sky. The expansive and unobstructed view, particularly stunning at sunset, with the evening glow spreading across the sky, is truly mesmerizing.
