Haitian Yixian Scenic Area Introduction
Hsinchu City has a beautiful coastline, and after the completion of the restoration work at the landfill, it will become a new scenic area. This area features a fly ash mound constructed from the ashes produced by the incinerator, located on one side of the Environmental Protection Technology Building, rising about 20 meters above sea level. It is a great spot to admire the office building designed by the architect I. M. Pei on one side, while the other side offers a stunning view of the horizon between the sea and sky. The expansive scenery is breathtaking, and during sunset, the evening glow spreads across the sky, creating a picturesque sight that marvels viewers.
