Horizon Seaview Area Introduction
Hsinchu City has a beautiful coastline, and after the completion of the landfill restoration work, it will become a new scenic area. This area features a fly ash mound constructed from ash produced by the incinerator, situated on one side of the Environmental Technology Building, rising about 20 meters above sea level. It is a great attraction where visitors can admire the Environmental Protection Bureau office building designed by the renowned architect Ieoh Ming Pei on one side, while on the other side, there is a breathtaking view of the horizon where the sky meets the sea. The scenery is vast and expansive, and during sunset, the evening glow spreads out before you, making for a truly stunning sight.
