Zion Mountain Introduction
Located in the Congshan Junling of Namasia District, Mount Zion can be reached by continuing along Provincial Highway 21 from the north of Jiaxian to the 12th bridge. Here you will find an entry sign into the mountains. Originally a desolate mountain range, it was later cultivated and managed by a group of devout New Covenant Church followers, resembling a paradise on earth. Mount Zion covers an area of approximately 200 hectares. Although it is located in a remote area, it is well-planned, equipped with a parking lot, snack vendors, hiking trails, lakes, and various activity venues for the New Covenant Church. The Zion Sanctuary is situated at a high point, offering a breathtaking view of the expansive valleys and beautiful landscapes unfolding in the distance. The followers of Mount Zion live apart from secular society, growing various organic vegetables and tea leaves, raising poultry and livestock, and producing organic, non-toxic products. They are self-sufficient and also sell their goods to tourists for additional income. Due to its mountainous location, it is an ideal spot for outdoor activities and cooling off during the hot summer months. The blooming plum blossoms around the Lunar New Year period mark the most beautiful time at Mount Zion each year.
