Taichung City Fish Market, Ha Fishing Port Introduction

The "Hayu Wharf" officially opened on January 10, 2010. It is located on Wujuan West Road and Huan Zhong Road in Taichung, serving as a leisure seafood market. Previously, it was a key fish auction center in central Taiwan, but it has now transformed into a charming tourist fishing port that continues to develop diverse experiences. In recent years, with the support of the Agricultural Bureau, it has continuously improved its facilities, including planning and constructing an ice factory and freezer to enhance the cold chain system and improve market transaction quality. It has also established retail and culinary centers, such as the fish selling and cooking areas, providing citizens with a place to purchase fresh, high-quality domestic seafood. Additionally, in collaboration with the city's Water Resources Bureau, it has established the "Fazi Creek Water Culture and Environmental Education Center" to help the public understand environmental ecology.
