Taichung Fish Market - Ha Fishing Port Introduction

The "Ha Yu Wharf" officially opened on January 10, 2010. Located on Wuquan West Road and Huan Zhong Road, it is a tourism and leisure fish market in Taichung that was once a key fish auction center in central Taiwan. Today, it has transformed into a charming tourist fishing port, continually developing diverse experiences. In recent years, with support from the Agricultural Bureau, it has continuously improved by planning to establish an ice factory, cold storage, and other systems to enhance the cold chain, thereby improving market transaction quality. It has also established retail and culinary centers, such as fish trading and cooking stations, providing citizens with a place to purchase fresh, domestically sourced, high-quality seafood. Additionally, in cooperation with the city's Water Resources Bureau, it established the "Fazi Creek Water Culture and Environmental Education Center" to help the public understand the ecological environment.
