Taichung Fish Market - Ha Fish Harbor Introduction

The "Hayu Fishing Port" officially opened on January 10, 2010. Located at the intersection of Wuqiu West Road and Huanzhong Road, it is a tourist and recreational fish market in Taichung. It was once a key fish auction center in central Taiwan, but has now transformed into a charming fishing port with various recreational experiences. In recent years, supported by the Agricultural Bureau, it has continuously improved, including the planning of an ice plant and cold storage to enhance the cold chain system, improving market transaction quality. Additionally, it has established retail and culinary centers such as fish selling and cooking facilities, providing residents with a place to purchase fresh, high-quality domestic seafood. Furthermore, in collaboration with the city's Water Resources Bureau, it has established the "Fazixi Water Culture and Environmental Education Center" to help the public understand environmental ecology.
