Taichung City Library Li Ke-yung Memorial Branch Introduction
The Li Ke-yung Memorial Library's design concept references the Takeo City Library in Japan. Set within a park, the three-story building integrates with the natural landscape, allowing sunlight and greenery to create a relaxed and comfortable reading atmosphere, reminiscent of an inviting bookstore. Outside the library, there are coffee vending machines and leisure seating, enabling visitors to enjoy coffee surrounded by the large banyan tree and the park's greenery, accompanied by the fragrance of books. The interior of the library features a specially designed reading sofa area and soft artistic lighting, thoroughly relaxing the mood of every visitor and providing a respite for the mind and spirit amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.
