Jinsha Community Introduction
Chinsha Settlement is located in the bay on the southern side of Nangan Island and is one of the best-preserved traditional Eastern Min stone house settlements in Matsu. The settlement is set against the mountains and faces the sea, featuring ancient houses built of granite, winding alleys, and golden sandy beaches, forming a unique landscape that reflects the historical context and aesthetic style of island life in Matsu. Chinsha was also an important fishing village port, retaining rich cultural stories and traces of daily life. Strolling through the settlement, one can appreciate the stacked stone houses, winding ancient paths, and the interplay of light on the sea, making it one of the most charming coastal settlements in Nangan.
