Jinsha Jingtian Temple Introduction
Jinsha Mazu Temple is located within the Jinsha settlement in Nangan, and is one of the most important places of worship for the local residents, dedicated to the Heavenly Queen Mazu. Although the temple is not large in scale, it features an elegant architectural style and has a strong devotion, blending with the ancient settlement vibe of Jinsha fishing village. The temple faces the sea in front and is backed by a group of stone houses, together with the surrounding traditional alleys and granite buildings, forming a unique cultural landscape. It serves as an important site for understanding the faith and fishing village history of Matsu Islands.
