Backed by the bustling Shuishe commercial area, the pier is close to several hotels, inns, restaurants, and shops, providing convenience for food, accommodation, and shopping. Near Shuishe Pier, next to the Shuishe Comprehensive Shopping Mall, is the bus transfer station for Sun Moon Lake, serving as an important transportation hub for visitors heading to various attractions around the lake, offering convenient bus services and travel information, making it an ideal starting point for first-time visitors. The area surrounding the pier features waterfront walking paths and gently sloping accessible wooden walkways, allowing visitors to stroll by the lakeside and closely appreciate the emerald waters and surrounding mountain scenery. Shuishe Pier is also one of the starting points for the cycling path around the lake, where cyclists can begin their journey to enjoy the beautiful lake views, mountains, and natural ecology.
