Songbailun Trail Introduction
Songbolun was once a route for the Sediq ancestors to travel back and forth to the Puli community for "collecting taxes from the indigenous people" and is an important place for the ancestral spirit worship of the Yuan clan. Before Sun Moon Lake was dammed, it was an important ancient salt transporting trail, and a sculpture representing salt transporters is located near the lakeside trail. The trail entrance is situated between Wenwu Temple and Peacock Park, and visitors can follow the winding forest path to reach the observation deck, enjoying the native flora, fauna, and the floating fields and fishing boats along the lake.
