Qingshui Rock Ecological Display Center Introduction
The area around Qingshuiyan Temple on Bagua Mountain is densely planted with the cerambycid trees that the stag beetles favor. In the past, these beetles were heavily overexploited, but in recent years, ecological conservation awareness has risen. Volunteer teams not only prevent merchants from capturing them but also facilitated the establishment of the "Qingshuiyan Ecological Exhibition Center." Today, it serves as an important hub for ecological tourism along the Bagua Mountain range, housing hundreds of rich insect specimens, many of which were donated by Zhang Hongzhi, a retired teacher from Shetou Junior High School, providing a comprehensive record of ecological conservation education in the Bagua Mountain area.
