Treasure Temple Introduction
Established in the 11th year of the Yongzheng era of the Qing Dynasty (1733 AD), the current scale and appearance of the temple were mostly constructed in the 28th year of the Daoguang era (1848 AD). The layout of the temple is of a dual-hall style, and it is currently designated as a historical site by the county (city). The main deities enshrined in the temple are Guanyin and Mazu, and it was once referred to as one of the "two temples" of the San Yan in central Taiwan. A visit to Baozang Temple must include seeing three specific items to avoid the regret of leaving "empty-handed."
