【Step into the Magical World of Music Box】The Taiwan Modern Music Box Museum, established by the local company Hsieh Ying Precision in Wufeng that has been in operation for 43 years, is the only factory exporting music boxes to Sankyo in Japan. Nestled in the culturally rich and musically inclined Taichung Wufeng; the beautiful melodies emanating from the Otaru Music Box Museum in Hokkaido come from the music boxes manufactured by Hsieh Ying in Taiwan, truly a point of pride for Taiwan! The museum is now open to the public for viewing and experiencing handmade music boxes, inviting everyone to step into the colorful world of music boxes. The Music Box Museum showcases over 140-year-old European antique music boxes, a variety of music boxes made from different materials and styles, disc-style and cylinder-style music boxes with interchangeable tunes, exquisite music boxes ranging from 30 to 100 notes, and both single-tune and infinite-tune smart music boxes. It features an explanation room where the structure and principles of standard music boxes are discussed, displaying various types of music box movements and each component of the standard music box movement, along with explanations of the materials and manufacturing methods of each part. The vibration plate tuning workshop is available for onsite tuning and observation, allowing you to understand the principles and difficulties in tuning each music comb note. Guided tours are provided, showcasing the beautiful tones of a large music box worth two million NTD, opening your heart to leisure and joy. Music Box Movement Assembly Experience Classroom: Step into the DIY classroom and personally experience how the master assembles the various components into a melodious music box, bringing forth ample care, patience, and focus; let’s embark on a museum experience of music box craftsmanship together! Steam Train: A rail-based steam train with 4 carriages and 16 seats, featuring a dreamy tunnel to enhance the fun of the ride. Boupark Recreational Facilities: Various recreational facilities (grass slides, colorful climbing rocks, treehouses, trampolines, wobbling bugs, etc.) are freely available for family leisure and enjoyment. Music boxes possess a magical charm that captivates both adults and children, bringing forth delightful and beautiful imaginations. The melodious tunes emitted by music boxes provide countless memories and a soothing space for the soul, once creating Taiwan's foreign exchange miracle, and now standing as a precious sound recording over the 40-year history of music boxes in Taiwan.
