【Step into the Magical World of Music Boxes】The Taiwan Modern Music Box Museum was established by the local precision company Xie Ying, which has been in operation for 43 years in Wufeng. It is the only factory that produces music boxes for export to Japan's Sankyo. Nestled in the culturally rich and musically sophisticated Wufeng, Taichung, the delightful melodies from the Otaru Music Box Museum in Hokkaido originate from the music boxes manufactured by Xie Ying in Taiwan—a true gem of Taiwan! The museum is now open to the public for visits and to experience making music boxes by hand. Everyone is welcome to step into the wonderful world of music boxes. The Music Box Museum showcases over ten antique music boxes from Europe dating back more than 140 years, a variety of music boxes in different materials and styles, interchangeable disc and cylinder music boxes with various melodies, exquisite music boxes ranging from 30 notes to 100 notes, and intelligent music boxes that can play from one song to unlimited songs. There is an explanation room that details the structure and principles of standard music boxes, displaying various types of music box movements and every part of the standard music box movement, explaining the materials and manufacturing methods of each part. The vibration plate tuning workshop allows visitors to observe the tuning process and understand the principles and difficulties of tuning each music box's notes. Professional guides will take you to enjoy the beautiful sound of a large music box worth two million NT dollars, opening your heart to a leisurely and enjoyable experience. The music box movement assembly experience classroom invites you to the DIY class to personally experience how the master assembles the various parts into a melodious music box. Bring your patience and focus and embark on a museum experience of craftsmanship in music boxes! Steam Train: A 4-car steam train with 16 seats takes you through a dreamy tunnel for added fun. Recreation Facilities in Baole Garden: A variety of recreational facilities (lawn slides, colorful climbing rocks, treehouses, trampolines, rocking bugs, etc.) are available for families to enjoy for free.
