Dai-Xian Temple Introduction
Tainan City preserves many precious designated historic sites, among which are the Daxian Temple and the Biyun Temple located in the Siraya National Scenic Area, both of which are ancient and valuable temples. Guanziling Daxian Temple is primarily a grand hall designed in the style of the Great Buddha of Nara, Japan, which qualifies it as a historic site. Daxian Temple is situated at the foot of Pillow Mountain in Baihe District, Tainan City, at the end of the Guanziling mountain range. The hall has an antique charm and is known colloquially as the Old Cliff.
