Deer Chef Pit Trail Introduction

Guangxing Village in Toufen City has historically faced damage to agricultural crops from wild deer in the mountainous areas, prompting locals to set up numerous cabinet-style deer traps. This forest area used to be called "Deer Kitchen Pit." The "Deer Kitchen Pit Trail" in Guangxing Village is mainly divided into two routes: the inner loop trail of 4 kilometers and the outer loop trail of 2 kilometers, both generally following the ridgeline, with elevations ranging from 38 meters to 159 meters. The trail is surrounded by dense forest, including butterfly ecological areas, firefly rehabilitation zones, and rhinoceros beetle ecological gardens. At the highest point, "Niu Lake Tuo Mountain" offers excellent views, allowing a distant gaze at the beautiful landscapes of Guangxing and Lankeng Valley. During the Tung blossom festival, the Tung flower forest along the trail is adorned with snow-white blossoms, intertwined with lush acacia trees, creating a colorful and beautiful sight that many consider a secret spot for appreciating the Tung flowers.
