Luchu Cave Trail Introduction

Guanxing Village in Toufen City faced issues in the past with wild deer damaging farm crops in the mountainous area. As a result, residents set up numerous framed deer traps, leading to the area being known as "Deer Kitchen Pit." The "Deer Kitchen Pit Trail," located in Guanxing, is mainly divided into two main routes: the inner loop trail of 4 kilometers and the outer loop trail of 2 kilometers, both generally following the ridge line, with an elevation that gradually rises from 38 meters to 159 meters. The trail is surrounded by dense forests and features areas for butterflies, firefly rehabilitation, and a rhinoceros beetle ecological park. At its highest point, "Niu Lake Hill" offers excellent views where visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Guanxing and the Lankeng Valley. During the Tung Blossom Festival, the trail's tung flower forest is adorned with pure white blossoms interwoven with the lush greenery of acacia trees, creating a vibrant and beautiful scene that many consider a secret spot for appreciating tung flowers.
