Eagle Rock Bagua Introduction
The Bagua Mountains on the eastern side of Changhua are a habitat for migratory birds passing through during the winter months every year. Among them, the most famous are the Grey-faced Buzzard and the Eurasian Sparrowhawk, which stop over in Changhua during the Qingming Festival in March and April, with numbers reaching up to 20,000 to 30,000. The sight of these hawks swirling in groups is truly breathtaking! This is the most important bird-watching event in Changhua County each year and serves as an excellent opportunity for learning about bird conservation and habitat protection.
