Eagle Wing Bagua Introduction
The eastern side of Changhua features the Bagua Mountain range, which serves as a habitat for migratory birds during their wintering period every year. The most famous birds are the Gray-faced Buzzard and the Rufous-bellied Hawk, which stop over in Changhua around the Tomb Sweeping Festival in March and April, with numbers reaching up to 20,000 to 30,000 individuals. The sight of these soaring hawks is truly spectacular! This is the most important bird-watching event in Changhua County each year and offers the best opportunity for learning about bird conservation and habitat protection.
