Eagle Flying Bagua Introduction
The eastern side of Changhua features the Bagua Mountain Range, which serves as a habitat for migratory birds during their winter passage every year. Among them, the most famous are the gray-faced buzzard and the ruddy buzzard, which stop in Changhua during the Qingming Festival in March and April, with numbers reaching up to 20,000 to 30,000 birds. The sight of these hawks soaring in groups is truly spectacular! This is the most important bird-watching event in Changhua County each year and offers an excellent opportunity for learning about bird conservation and habitat protection.
