Eagle's Nest Bagua Introduction
The eastern side of Changhua is home to the Bagua Mountain Range, which serves as a resting place for migratory birds during their winter passage each year. The most famous among them are the grey-faced buzzard and the mountain buzzard, which stop by in Changhua during March and April around the Tomb-Sweeping Festival, with numbers reaching up to twenty to thirty thousand. The sight of these hawks soaring in groups is truly spectacular! This is the most significant birdwatching event in Changhua County each year, providing an excellent opportunity for learning about bird conservation and habitat protection.
