Eagle Rock Bagua Introduction
The eastern side of Changhua is home to the Bagua Mountain Range, which serves as a habitat for migratory birds during their winter migration each year. Among them, the most famous are the Gray-faced Buzzard and the Ruby-throated Hawk, which stop over in Changhua during March and April around the Tomb Sweeping Festival, with numbers reaching up to twenty to thirty thousand. The sight of these hawks soaring together in groups is truly breathtaking! This event is the most significant birdwatching activity in Changhua County each year and offers an excellent opportunity for bird conservation and habitat protection education.
