Eagle Rock Bagua Introduction
The Bagua Mountain Range on the eastern side of Changhua is a habitat for migratory birds that pass through during the winter months each year. Among them, the most famous are the Gray-faced Buzzard and the Black Kite, which stop in Changhua during March and April around Tomb Sweeping Day, with numbers reaching as high as twenty to thirty thousand. The spectacle of the hawks soaring in groups is truly breathtaking! This is the most important birdwatching event in Changhua County each year and serves as the best opportunity for learning about bird conservation and habitat protection.
