Changhua City Yixiantian Trail Introduction

The Yansiantian Trail in Changhua City is located within the Taoyuan Community. It was formerly the riverbed of the Beishekeng River. After the river dried up, the riverbed became a dense natural forest. Today, the trail runs along the bottom of the valley, offering a very unique experience. As you walk along the path, you can see clusters of yellow lancewood, bamboo groves, and taro plants, along with ferns climbing among them, creating a mysterious rainforest-like atmosphere that attracts every visitor. The towering rock walls on both sides of the trail are formed by the terrain cut by the river and shaped by geological movements over time. In the narrowest places, only one person can pass through, and looking from the inside out, it feels as if the sky is reduced to just a narrow line, hence the name "Yansiantian" (a line of sky). Just a few minutes' drive from the city center, you can enjoy such astonishing geological landscapes and witness the marks of river erosion and tectonic shifts over thousands of years. It is an unmissable attraction when visiting Bagua Mountain. Currently, the Yansiantian Trail is maintained and managed by the Taoyuan Community Development Association of Changhua City and requires group reservations for entry.
