Changhua City Yixiantian Trail Introduction
The One-Line Sky Trail in Changhua City is located within the Taoyuan Community. In the past, it was the riverbed of Beishi Stream. After the water dried up, the riverbed transformed into a densely vegetated primeval forest. Today, the trail runs along the bottom of the valley, providing a very unique experience. As you walk along the trail, you can see clusters of plants such as yellow bamboo, bamboo groves, and taro, along with ferns climbing among them, creating a mysterious rainforest-like atmosphere that attracts every visitor. The towering rock walls on both sides of the trail were formed by the river's cutting action and subsequent geological changes. At its narrowest point, only one person can pass through, and looking outward feels as though the sky is only a narrow line wide, hence the name "One-Line Sky." Just a few minutes' drive from the city center, visitors can appreciate this astonishing geological landscape and witness the marks left by thousands of years of stream erosion and tectonic movement, making it a must-see while visiting Bagua Mountain. Currently, the One-Line Sky Trail is maintained and managed by the Taoyuan Community Development Association in Changhua City and requires group reservations for visits.
