Changhua City One-Line Sky Trail Introduction
The Yixiantian Trail in Changhua City is located within the Taoyuan Community. It was once the riverbed of Beishikeng, and after the river dried up, the riverbed became a dense area of primitive forest. The current trail runs along the bottom of the valley, offering a very unique experience. As you walk along the trail, you can see clusters of plants such as Yellow Lantern Wood, bamboo groves, and taro, as well as ferns climbing among them, creating a mysterious atmosphere reminiscent of a rainforest that attracts every visitor. The towering rock walls on both sides of the trail were formed by the river cutting through the terrain and subsequent tectonic movements, with the narrowest parts being passable by only one person. Looking outward from within, it appears as if the sky is only a narrow strip wide, hence the name "Yixiantian" (a line of sky). Just a few minutes' drive from the city, one can enjoy such an incredible topographic landscape and witness the traces of thousands of years of river erosion and tectonic changes, making it a must-visit when coming to Bagua Mountain. The Yixiantian Trail is currently maintained and managed by the Taoyuan Community Development Association in Changhua City and requires reservations for group access.
