Changhua City One-Line Sky Trail Introduction
The One Line Sky Trail in Changhua City is located within the Taoyuan Community, and it was once the riverbed of the Beishikeng stream. After the river dried up, the riverbed became a lush, primitive forest. Today, the trail follows the bottom of the valley, providing a unique experience. Walking along the trail, visitors can see dense growths of plants such as Yellow Lotus Wood, bamboo forests, and taro, as well as ferns climbing among them, creating a mysterious allure reminiscent of a rainforest that attracts every traveler. The towering rock walls on both sides of the trail were formed by the river's cutting action and subsequent geological changes. At its narrowest point, the trail can barely accommodate a single person, and looking out from within feels as if the sky is just a thin line wide, which is why it is called "One Line Sky." Just a few minutes' drive from the city center, one can admire such astonishing geological features and witness the traces of stream erosion and geological movement over thousands of years, making it a must-visit when in Bagua Mountain. The One Line Sky Trail is currently maintained and managed by the Taoyuan Community Development Association in Changhua City, and visits are by group reservation only.
