Gu Yue Folk Museum Introduction
The Gu Yue Folk Museum was built on the site of the Matsu Temple, which was demolished after being bombed during World War II, in the first month of the Year of the Monkey (January 2004, Republic of China). The construction took two years and was completed in the fifth month of the Year of the Dog (May 2006, Republic of China). With a small-scale investment, the museum aims to preserve traditional Taiwanese culture through the clever planning of limited space and infinite collections.
