Gu-Yue Folk Museum Introduction
The GuYue Folk Museum was built on the site of the Tianhou Temple, which was demolished after being bombed during World War II in the second month of the Year of the Wooden Monkey (January 2004 in the Minguo calendar). The construction took two years and was completed in the fifth month of the Year of the Wooden Dog (May 2006 in the Minguo calendar). The museum aims to preserve Taiwan's traditional culture through clever planning that utilizes limited space and unlimited collections.
