Changhua Confucius Temple is an important symbol of cultural and educational development in central Taiwan. Established in the fourth year of the Yongzheng era during the Qing Dynasty by County Magistrate Zhang Hao, it served as the former site of the Changhua County Academy.

Confucius Temple Introduction

Zhanghua Confucius Temple (National Historic Site) is the largest Confucius Temple built during the Qing Dynasty in Taiwan. It serves as a hall of learning from ancient times and still retains the architectural flavor of traditional Confucius Temples.
