The Changhua Confucius Temple is an important symbol of cultural and educational development in central Taiwan. Established in the fourth year of the Yongzheng era of the Qing Dynasty, it was founded by County Magistrate Zhang Hao and served as the former site of the Changhua County School.

Confucius Temple Introduction

Changhua Confucius Temple (National Historic Site) is the largest Confucius Temple built during the Qing Dynasty in Taiwan. It served as an ancient academic hall and still retains the architectural flavor of traditional Confucian temples.
