The Changhua Confucius Temple is an important symbol of cultural and educational development in central Taiwan. Established in the fourth year of the Yongzheng Emperor's reign in the Qing Dynasty, it was founded by County Magistrate Zhang Hao and served as the old location for the Changhua County Academy.

Confucius Temple Introduction

Changhua Confucius Temple (National Historical Site) is the largest Confucius temple built during the Qing Dynasty in Taiwan. It served as an academic hall in ancient times and still retains the architectural essence of traditional Confucius temples.
