Kumquat Leisure Park Introduction

The fresh fruit contains a rich amount of vitamin C, leading enthusiasts to surprisingly call it the "Kumquat," a fruit of great value. Its origin can be traced back to Jiuru Township in Pingtung County. In 2001, the Pingtung County Kumquat Production Cooperative was established to address the unstable market prices and surplus issues caused by the varying yield and seasons of lemons and kumquats. In 2003, Dingxin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was founded, initiating the production process of lemon and kumquat juice. By purchasing and processing in large quantities, they aimed to replace market demand with fresh juice during low yield periods, thereby creating the greatest business opportunities and channels for agricultural specialty products from the region.
