Kumquat Leisure Park Introduction

Fresh kumquats are rich in vitamin C, leading enthusiasts to refer to them as the "holy fruit," originating from Jiuru Township in Pingtung. In 2001, the Pingtung County Kumquat Production Cooperative was established to address the instability of market prices and excess inventory caused by the varying harvest seasons and yields of lemons and kumquats. In 2003, Dingxin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was founded to initiate the production of lemon and kumquat juice. By processing large quantities of raw materials, they were able to replace market demand with fresh juice during low yield periods, thereby creating significant business opportunities and distribution channels for local agricultural products.
