New Baiyang Service Station Introduction
Xinbaiyang is part of the Hehuan Mountain range, standing at an altitude of 1,650 meters. It is located within Taroko National Park and has a service station that serves as an important information hub at the eastern access point of the Hehuan Ridge Ancient Trail's meandering section. The service station features a lightbox equipped with landscape images to introduce various hiking trails, flora and fauna, and sea of clouds views within the park, forming an open display system. It also has a viewing platform that overlooks the upstream valley of the Lidu Creek and the Tajiki Creek. From the observation deck at Xinbaiyang, visitors can admire magnificent sights such as Qilai North Peak, Panshi Mountain, and Lidu Main Mountain. Due to the unique terrain, fog often blankets the area, enhancing the ethereal beauty of the mountainous landscape.
