New Baiyang Service Station Introduction

New Baiyang is part of the Hehuan Mountain Range, with an elevation of 1,650 meters. It has a service station located within Taroko National Park, which serves as an important information point for the eastern trailhead of the Hehuan Ridge Ancient Trail curving section. Inside the service station, light boxes with scenic images introduce the various trails, flora and fauna, and cloud sea views in the park, representing an open display system. It also features a viewing platform that overlooks the upper Liwu River and the Tachia Creek Valley. From the viewing platform at New Baiyang, visitors can enjoy the magnificent views of Qilai North Peak, Panshi Mountain, and Liwu Main Peak. Due to the unique topography, fog frequently occurs, and the thick mist adds a more ethereal beauty to the mountains and forests.
