New Baiyang Service Station Introduction

New Baiyang is part of the Hehuan Mountain range, with an elevation of 1,650 meters. It has a service station located within Taroko National Park, serving as an important information hub for the eastern trailhead of the Hehuan Ancient Trail's winding segment. Inside the service station, illuminated displays along with scenic images introduce the park's various trails, flora and fauna, and sea of clouds views, constituting an open exhibition system. It also features a viewing platform that overlooks the upper Liwu River and the Tazikuli Valley. From the observation deck at New Baiyang, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of peaks such as Qilai North Peak, Panshih Mountain, and Liwu Main Mountain. Due to the unique terrain, fog often forms, and the thick mist adds to the ethereal beauty of the mountains and forests.
