Baiyang Trail (Shuiliandong) Introduction

The Baiyang Trail was originally a construction road for Taiwan Power Company, but it has now been renovated into a gentle and wide trail, suitable for hiking on weekends. The trail is approximately 2 kilometers long from the entrance to the Shuilian Cave, taking about 3 hours round trip, during which hikers will pass through 7 tunnels. Along the way, you can enjoy views of steep rock walls and flowing streams. Notably, near the third tunnel, the trail enters the Tze-Chi-Ki stream area, which features a magnificent gorge landscape. After passing the Baiyang Bridge along the trail, the Baiyang Waterfall cascades down from a high cliff in the distance and flows into the lower waterfall, creating a stunning scene. From the viewing platform, you can clearly gaze up at the white curtain-like waterfall tumbling down between steep ridges, a sight that is truly breathtaking.
