Baiyang Trail (Water Curtain Cave) Introduction

The Baiyang Trail was originally a construction road for Taiwan Power Company, but it has now been transformed into a wide and gentle path suitable for hiking on weekends. The trail extends about 2 kilometers from the entrance to the Shuilian Cave section, taking approximately 3 hours to complete the round trip. Along the way, hikers will pass through 7 tunnels and can enjoy the stunning views of steep cliffs and flowing streams. Near the third tunnel, the trail enters the Tachia River watershed, which features a particularly magnificent canyon landscape. After passing the Baiyang Bridge, the Baiyang Waterfall cascades down from a high cliff in the distance, flowing into the lower waterfall and creating a stunning scene. From the observation deck, visitors can clearly look up at the beautiful white curtain waterfall pouring down between the rugged mountains, a breathtaking sight.
