Baiyang Trail (Shui Lian Dong) Introduction

The Baiyang Trail was originally a construction road for Taiwan Power Company, but it has now been renovated into a wide and gentle pathway, suitable for hiking on weekends. The trail stretches about 2 kilometers from the entrance to the Shuilian Cave section, taking around 3 hours for a round trip, and passes through 7 tunnels along the way. Hikers can enjoy the stunning scenery of steep rock walls and flowing streams, with the section near the third tunnel leading into the Tachia River area, known for its magnificent canyon views. After passing Baiyang Bridge, the Baiyang Waterfall cascades down from the heights of the distant cliff, flowing into the lower waterfall, creating a breathtaking landscape. From the observation deck, one can get a clear view of the white curtain-like waterfall pouring down from the rugged mountains, a sight that is truly awe-inspiring.
