Baiyang Trail (Shui Lian Dong) Introduction

Baiyang Trail was originally a construction road for Taiwan Power Company, and it has now been transformed into a gentle and wide trail, perfect for hiking on weekends. The trail stretches about 2 kilometers from the entrance to Shuilian Cave, requiring approximately 3 hours for a round trip, during which hikers will pass through 7 tunnels. Along the way, one can enjoy the scenic views of sheer rock walls and flowing streams. Near the third tunnel, the trail enters the Tajiang River basin, featuring a magnificent gorge scenery. After crossing Baiyang Bridge, Baiyang Waterfall cascades down from a high cliff in the distance, flowing down to the lower waterfall, creating a stunning landscape. From the viewing platform, one can clearly gaze up at the white silk waterfall pouring down from the rugged peaks, a sight that is truly breathtaking.
