Lüshui River Confluence Introduction
Lushui Convergence Trail is part of the Hehuan Mountain Ridge Ancient Path, located at kilometer 172 of the Central Cross-Island Highway. The entrance is on the left side of the "Lushui Geological Exhibition Center." The trail is approximately 2 kilometers long, connecting the Lushui River terrace to the Convergence Terrace, with a gentle dirt path that can be walked in about 1 hour to reach the end of the trail. Following the path, visitors can enjoy the rich natural ecology and experience the majesty of the cliff canyons. Lushui is a river terrace where the ancestors of the indigenous Atayal people once settled. Today, the entrance to the trail features a geological landscape exhibition hall that offers free visits to help tourists understand the geological terrain of Taroko Gorge. The Convergence Camping Area is well-equipped and located in a comfortable, flat area, allowing visitors to enjoy the enchanting canyon scenery.
