Green Water Confluence Introduction

The Lushui Confluence Trail is part of the Hehuan Mountain Old Trail, located at Kilometer 172 of the Central Cross-Island Highway. The entrance is located on the left side of the Lushui Geological Exhibition Hall. The trail is approximately 2 kilometers long, connecting the Lushui River Terraces to the Confluence Terrace, and it features a gently sloping dirt path that takes about 1 hour to walk to the end of the trail. Along the trail, visitors can enjoy rich natural ecology and experience the steepness of the cliff canyon. Lushui is a river terrace where the ancestors of the Atayal indigenous people once settled. The entrance of the trail now features a geological landscape exhibition hall, providing free admission for visitors to help them understand the geology and topography of Taroko. The Confluence Campsite is a well-equipped camping area located in a comfortable and flat spot, where visitors can enjoy the charming canyon scenery.
