Gyeongbokgung Palace Introduction
Main Deity: Caishen (God of Wealth) Festival Date: Second day of the second lunar month The Chenggong Temple in Magong, Penghu, is located in the historic preservation area of Central Street. It is dedicated to the worship of Caishen and has a history of over 250 years. The temple was originally situated on Nanzuo Ying Street of the Magong Seven Streets in its early years, thus it is also known as the "Southern Caishen Temple." The temple also displays a wooden plaque from the Guangxu period of the Qing dynasty, which has been preserved for over a century, validating its status as an ancient historical site.
