Gyeongbokgung Palace Introduction
The Cheng Kung Temple in Magong, Penghu, is dedicated to the deity Tudigong (God of Soil and Earth) and celebrates its main festival on the second day of the second lunar month. The temple, which has a history of over 250 years, is located within the historical preservation zone of Magong's Central Street Old Town. It was originally situated on Nanzuoying Street in the early days of the city, and is also known as the "Southern Tudigong Temple." The temple still displays an ancient plaque from the Guangxu era of the Qing Dynasty, with the inscription "Jie Er Jingfu," verifying its status as a century-old historical site.
