Mangrove Park Introduction
The mangrove forest along the Kejia River and Haishan Fish Trap in Hsinchu City is one of the few non-estuarine pure Bruguiera forest areas. The Bruguiera trees outside the seawall are tall and densely packed, while the more diminutive Bruguiera near the mouth of the Kejia River have distinctive appearances. The Hsinchu City Government has planned a park in the mangrove area, making it the first ecological park in Hsinchu City designed using ecological engineering methods. The park features dedicated bike paths, bird-watching boardwalks, a central axis walking trail, a sand sculpture area, and a small climbing area, allowing seniors to stroll while active children can find a safe thrill here.
