Qingshan Waterfall Introduction
Qingshan Waterfall is located in the vicinity of Jianshan Lake upstream of Laomei Creek in Shimen District. Formerly known as "Jianshan Lake Waterfall," it stands about ten meters high, with abundant water flow and impressive grandeur. It is within the boundaries of Yangmingshan National Park, where a comfortable and shaded trail approximately 1.3 kilometers long has been established, leading to the Qingshan Waterfall, making it an ideal destination for family outings on weekends. Due to the valley fault, the Qingshan Waterfall drops about three stories high and is classified as an inclined waterfall. Situated against the backdrop of the majestic Zhuzi Mountain, the waterfall is spectacular, and the pool area is large, with crystal-clear and refreshing water that connects two adjacent deep pools, creating a stunning view. Watching the waterfall cascade down from the cliff top, splashing countless droplets, while feeling the gentle breeze through the forest and listening to the soothing sound of the water, evokes a sense of tranquil freedom.
