Qingshan Waterfall Introduction
Qingshan Waterfall is located in the upstream area of Laomei Creek near Jianshan Lake in Shimen District. Formerly known as "Jianshan Lake Waterfall," it stands about 10 meters high with abundant water flow, creating a majestic sight. It is within the Yangmingshan National Park and a comfortable, shaded 1.3-kilometer long pathway has been developed leading to the Qingshan Waterfall, making it an ideal spot for family outings during weekends. The Qingshan Waterfall has a drop of approximately three stories due to a fault in the gorge, classified as a sloped waterfall. Backed by the towering and magnificent Zhuzihu Mountain, the water flow is spectacular, with a large pool area and crystal-clear, sweet, cool water, which connects to two adjacent deep pools, presenting a beautiful scenery. Watching the waterfall plunge down from the cliff top, splashing countless water droplets, while feeling the gentle breeze through the mountains and listening to the soothing sound of the flowing water creates a sense of peace and tranquility.
