Qingshan Waterfall Introduction
Qingshan Waterfall is located in the Shimen District near the upper reaches of Laomei River and Jian Mountain Lake, formerly known as "Jian Mountain Lake Waterfall." It has a height of about ten meters with a abundant water flow and impressive grandeur, situated within the boundaries of Yangmingshan National Park. A comfortable and shaded trail approximately 1.3 kilometers long has been developed leading to Qingshan Waterfall, making it ideal for family outings on weekends. The Qingshan Waterfall, which drops about three stories due to the valley's faulting, is categorized as a sloped waterfall. With the majestic Zhuzi Mountain rising behind, the water flow is spectacular, and the pool at the base is large with crystal-clear water that is sweet and refreshing. It also connects two adjacent deep pools, creating a picturesque landscape. Observing the waterfall cascading down from the cliff top, sending up countless water splashes, one can feel a gentle breeze through the forest and listen to the soothing sound of the waterfall, evoking a sense of tranquility and freedom.
