Qing Mountain Waterfall Introduction
Qingshan Waterfall is located in the upstream area of Laomei River in Shimen District, near Jianshan Lake. Formerly known as "Jianshan Lake Waterfall," it stands about ten meters high, with ample water flow and impressive grandeur. It belongs to the Yangmingshan National Park and has a 1.3-kilometer comfortable and shaded walking trail leading to the waterfall, making it a perfect destination for families to enjoy nature on weekends. Due to the valley fault, Qingshan Waterfall drops about three stories high and is classified as a sloped waterfall. With the majestic Zhuzi Mountain towering behind it, the water flow is spectacular, and the pool area is large, offering clear and sweet water. It connects two adjacent deep pools, creating a beautiful scenery. Watching the waterfall cascading down from the cliff, splashing countless droplets, one can feel the gentle breeze in the mountains and listen to the soothing sound of the water, evoking a sense of tranquility and freedom.
