Wooden Clogs Farm Introduction
Wu Chun-fa, the owner of the farm, was a former executive chef of the Ocean Emperor. When the agricultural association promoted a policy of one leisure place per township, Wu Chun-fa resolutely resigned from his high-paying job to return home and build the community. Charcoal kilns were once ubiquitous in Sanjhih decades ago, but now only two sites remain. Wu Chun-fa has restored an abandoned charcoal kiln at his home and has meticulously designed a black slate pathway, a pen tree pavilion, lush bamboo gardens, and themed dining experiences. The Wooden Clog Farm is a perfect paradise, ideal for enjoying baked sweet potatoes on weekends.
