The owner of the farm, Wu Chun-fa, was the former executive chef of Hai Bao Wang. When the agricultural association promoted a plan for one leisure activity per township, Wu Chun-fa resolutely resigned from his high-paying job to return to his hometown for development. Charcoal kilns used to be commonly seen in San Zhi decades ago, but now there are only two remaining sites. Wu Chun-fa has restored an abandoned charcoal kiln at his home, and in addition to the furnace, he has carefully designed a black slate path, a pencil tree pavilion, lush bamboo groves, and themed dining options. The Wooden Slipper Farm is a paradise, where you can come to roast sweet potatoes on weekends.

When the agricultural association promoted a plan for a leisure farm in every township, Wu Chun-Fa decisively resigned from his high-paying job to return home and develop the area. Charcoal kilns were commonly seen in Sanzi decades ago, but now only two sites remain. Wu Chun-Fa restored the abandoned charcoal kiln in his home and has carefully designed black slate walking paths, penholder tree pavilions, lush bamboo forests, and themed dining experiences. The Wooden Clog Farm is a wonderful paradise, where visitors can enjoy baked sweet potatoes on weekends.

There are no nearby bus services; it is recommended to take the Tamsui Bus 866 or 876 to the Hou Dian stop and then take a taxi up the mountain. 【Driving】1. Take the National Highway No. 1 and exit at the Wugu Interchange → connect to Taiwan Route 15 → connect to Taiwan Route 2 → please turn right onto Beixin Road Section 1 (County Road 101) → continue along Beixin Road and turn right onto Qingxi Road, following the signs to reach your destination.
