Chief's Cultural and Creative Park Introduction
The Chief Cultural Creative Park is located in the Wulai District of New Taipei City and has been dedicated to promoting Atayal culture for over 30 years. In the Chief Cultural Theatre, visitors can enjoy unique mountain delicacies while appreciating traditional Atayal dances. Men wear feathered crowns that exude warrior spirit, while women wear floral crowns to enhance their beauty and vitality, with their faces painted with black ink to symbolize traditional facial tattoos. Performances include lively welcome dances, bamboo pole dances, and dances from traditional ceremonial weddings, creating a vibrant atmosphere where guests often join in singing. The Chief Cultural Creative Park features spacious areas for visitors to experience traditional Atayal weaving, DIY bracelet weaving, and more. The Atayal craft works are increasingly diverse and innovative. The park also serves as a tourist center, with staff providing local travel information and assistance.
