Xinxian Trail Introduction
The Xinxian Trail is located in Xinxian Village, Wulai District. It starts from the Xinxian Suspension Bridge in the east and connects to the Neidong National Forest Recreation Area in the west. Xinxian Village is the settlement of the Atayal people, known as Lahaw, which can be transliterated as Lahao, Luohao, or Nahao, meaning "dense forest." The Xinxian Trail is approximately 1.5 kilometers long, closely following the southern bank of the upper section of the Nanshi River. Originally, it served as a road connecting Fushan and Wulai. The trail is flat and easy to walk, shaded by greenery along the way, making it a family-friendly recreational path.
