Wulai Sky Cable Introduction
The Wulai Gondola is located in the Wulai District of New Taipei City and serves as a round-trip cable car into the Yun Sen Leisure Park. It has been in operation since August 1967. As one car ascends, another descends, making it a signature attraction of the Yun Sen Leisure Park. The gondola has only two stations, connecting the Wulai Waterfall area to Yun Sen Leisure Park. It is Taiwan's first passenger-carrying sightseeing gondola and is one of the well-known tourist features of Wulai. The gondola was specially constructed by Yun Sen Leisure Park. Riding the gondola allows visitors to soar over the Nanshih Creek Valley, offering different perspectives of the Wulai Waterfall and a view of the Yunlong Waterfall, while the gondola platform provides a panoramic view of the Nanshih Creek Gorge. The Yun Sen Leisure Park, located downstream of the Wulai Creek, features the largest and highest Wulai Waterfall in northern Taiwan, with its cascading waters frequently attracting visitors to the serene Changshi Square on the opposite bank. The Wulai Gondola, crossing over the Nanshih Creek next to the hot spring street, not only represents a charming landmark of Wulai but also serves as an excellent vantage point for overlooking the waterfall.
