Wulai Sky Resort Introduction
The Wulai Gondola is located in the Wulai District of New Taipei City and is a round-trip cable car that provides access to the Yun Sen Leisure Park, having commenced operations in August 1967. While one cabin ascends the mountain, another descends, making it a signature attraction of the Yun Sen Leisure Park. The gondola features only two terminal stations, linking the Wulai Waterfall area to Yun Sen Leisure Park. It is Taiwan's first passenger-carrying sightseeing gondola and is one of Wulai's famous tourist attractions. The gondola ride allows passengers to soar over the Nanshi River Valley, offering different perspectives of the Wulai Waterfall and a view of the Yunlong Waterfall. From the gondola platform, visitors can also enjoy the scenic views of the Nanshi River gorge. Located downstream of the Wulai River, Yun Sen Leisure Park not only features the largest and highest Wulai Waterfall in Northern Taiwan, which frequently attracts tourists to the tranquil Warrior Square on the opposite bank but also showcases the charming landmark of Wulai by soaring over the Nanshi River next to the hot spring street, providing an excellent viewpoint for overlooking the waterfall.
