Wulai Aerial Cable Car Introduction
The Wulai Aerial Cable Car is located in the Wulai District of New Taipei City. It is a gondola lift that operates in a round-trip manner to take visitors into the Yunxian Paradise amusement park, having been opened since August 1967. While one gondola ascends, another descends, making it a signature attraction of Yunxian Paradise. The aerial cable car has two terminal stations, connecting the Wulai Waterfall district to Yunxian Paradise. It is the first passenger-carrying aerial cable car in Taiwan and one of the famous tourist features in Wulai, specially built by Yunxian Paradise. Riding the aerial cable car allows visitors to soar over the Nanshi Creek Valley, providing a different perspective of the Wulai Waterfall and a view of the Yunlong Waterfall. Passengers can also enjoy the stunning canyon scenery of the Nanshi Creek from the cable car platform. Yunxian Paradise, located downstream of the Wulai River, features the largest and highest waterfall in northern Taiwan, attracting visitors who often pause at the adjacent Warrior Square for a peaceful view. The cable car, which spans the Nanshi Creek next to the hot spring street, not only presents a charming Wulai landmark but also offers an excellent vantage point from which to overlook the waterfall.
