Coal Transport Bridge Introduction
The transportation of coal from various mine entrances to the coal preparation plant is carried out by diesel locomotives. The coal transport bridge was originally built as a three-tiered iron bridge, but due to the needs of the mining industry, it was rebuilt in August 1965 into a steel and concrete arch bridge, officially named "Ruisan Bridge." It currently retains intact relics for visitors to recall the past prosperity of mining. After July 2010, the coal transport bridge was renovated to provide a safer passage for tourists, with old tracks restored to resemble the original gauge, showcasing the historical mining transport scene. Additionally, lights are projected onto the bridge at night, making this landmark a popular choice for night photographers in Houtong.
