Coal Transport Bridge Introduction
The transportation of coal from various mine entrances to the coal plant is carried out by diesel locomotives, and the coal conveying bridge was built for transporting coal mines. Originally constructed as a three-layer iron bridge, it was later rebuilt in August 1965 into a steel-concrete arched bridge due to mining demands and officially named "Ruisan Bridge." The site still retains complete ruins for visitors to reflect on the prosperous mining era, and after renovations in July 2010, the bridge was made safer for tourists. The old tracks have been restored on the bridge to closely resemble the original gauge, along with the placement of trolleys to vividly showcase the old mining scene. Additionally, the bridge is illuminated at night, making it one of the preferred locations for photographers in Houtong.
