Houtong Coal Mine Park Introduction
The Houtong area, once primarily known for its coal mining activities, features attractions such as the Coal Transport Bridge, Ruishan Mining Company Coal Preparation Plant, Japanese Shrine, Jinzi Monument Old Trail, and Houtong Train Station. To showcase the historical splendor of Houtong's coal mines, a park planning project is underway, inviting the public to experience the beauty of mining and culture. The Vision Hall within the park was formerly a warehouse for the Ruishan Mining Company Coal Preparation Plant. It introduces various aspects related to the coal mining industry, presenting the unique characteristics of the Houtong area through text and imagery. In the movie "The Bad Girl," the protagonist Ada's family's martial arts school is located at the side entrance of the Vision Hall; additionally, the male lead Justin's dream bakery is also filmed here.
