Houtong Coal Mine Ecological Park Introduction

The Hōdō area was once primarily engaged in coal mining activities. Attractions include the Coal Transport Bridge, the Ruìsān Mining Company Coal Preparation Plant, the Japanese Shrine, the Jinzibei Ancient Trail, and the Hōdō Train Station. To showcase the historical significance of the Hōdō coal mine, development plans for the park are underway, inviting the public to experience the beauty of mining and culture. The Vision Hall within the park was formerly a warehouse for the Ruìsān Mining Company Coal Preparation Plant. It introduces various aspects related to the coal mining industry, presenting the unique characteristics of the Hōdō area through text and images. In the film "Bad Girl," the protagonist Adan’s martial arts academy is located at the side entrance of the Vision Hall; additionally, the bakery where the male lead Justin pursues his dreams is also filmed here.
